Fab! Very helpful
I used to dream about reading books on cinematography, color, etc, books that are not so popular, and hence have to be imported into India, and thus, are very expensive. After 6 months of not being able to read those books, I found Perlego, and saw its subscription price. I could not believe it! The whole year's subscription price was less than a single book's price(take Cinematography: Theory and Practice by Blain Brown). And I could read all these wonderful(and expensive) books whenever I wanted.
But I also faced since problem with a book not loading. I emailed them, and they replied within a day, and solved the issue within 2 days, while also informing me that the issue had been solved. That was a first for me, and a very pleasant surprise.
Believe me, there are worse things you can do with your money than spend a very tiny amount on books.

Overall, I am grateful to have found this online library. The thing which let me down a little was the tardy response by customer service (it took 3 days for someone to get back to me, and this was after I had solved my own problem, at which time I didn't really need anybody to contact me anymore). Also, some of the books which I'm looking for, don't exist in this database, but most of the books I need do, so that's a small problem. Lastly, I downloaded the application, but it's more difficult to navigate than the page as some functions (like jumping to a book page for eg) don't exist on the app.
Great selection of books, latest editions, I can use for my studies. The only negative is, that some books take long time to load.
I am bilingual. Thanks to Perlego I’ve been able to find plenty of books in english and spanish.
Although the physical experience of books and libraries cannot be substituted, the ability to access volumes so easily and from anywhere is truly a game changer (and in the days of the pandemic a life saver!) Perlego has quite an impressive selection and the fee is really quite reasonable but it doesn't get five stars because of two quite significant flaws: Firstly, it is really, really slow. I have extremely fast internet, but jumping places inside a book, let alone switching between volumes, is agonising. Secondly, the books have no page numbers - that is, not in relation to the actual book, which makes it impossible to reference properly. Any chance you can sort this out asap, nice Perlego people??
wide variety of books from all fields. excellent choice.
Excellent User Interface and very helpful service for all university students and more.
